Booking

We try to accommodate peoples busy lifestyles and we endeavor to arrange mutually convenient appointments for all our clients.

To arrange an appointment follow the simple steps below:

  • Fully read our terms & conditions (these are included on the Vet Referral Form on the link below)
  • Contact us to discuss your dog’s requirements, and to make your initial appointment Contact us for details.
  • Complete the Vet Referral Form, ensuring that you get your vet to complete and sign the relevant section, as we cannot accept your registration without it.
  • Ask the vet to post or fax the completed form to us.

What to expect at the first appointment

We take into account your pet condition, your Veterinary Surgeons specific recommendations, observations and plan a swimming programme.

Your pet will receive a full health check before he/she enters the water. If your pet has experienced any of these conditions: congestive heart failure, enlarged heart, epilepsy, diabetes, bleeding (external and internal), asthma, chemotherapy, please advise us.

Your pet will be warm water rinsed. A Ruffwear floatation jacket will be fitted and access to the pool will be via a gradual sloping ramp.

A normal full-length session is 25 minutes long but the length of the session depends on your dogs  medical condition, needs and ability. Some dogs can only spend a few minutes in the pool on their first visit but this may quickly rise to a full 25 minutes as your dog heals or their fitness improves. We are always guided by the best care and treatment for your dog.
